Climate Change - An Acrostic Poem

A poem I wrote tonight about climate change.

Climbing upwards, like a hiker up a mountain– 
Lingering, creating fear to those who are helpless; 
Increasing temperatures, the world is changing. 
Media attention is higher while support falls. 
All criticized, plans to take action feel pointless. 
Though some people try to make up for it. 
Even if it feels too late, what if it’s not? 

Change is inevitable, but does it have to be? 
How could we fix it if no one wants to help? 
And how do we put the narrative on them– 
Not us people, but the corporations responsible. 
Good things go away, but if anything, 
Even if it’s pointless, shouldn’t we try to mend it?
